When todays Reference 4100 - the third iteration of AP’s iconic sports watch - was launched in 1977, it was the first to feature a central seconds hand and, at 35mm, was designed for those who found the jumbo models too big.
This steel 35mm reference 4100ST is in a condition that will make any collector sweat. The black petit-tapisserie dial, made by Stern, bears the old-style Audemars Piguet signature and some artful patina around the hour markers is in good condition.
The case has the correct winding crown without the logo. The bracelet with all links is in good condition with some stretch and is fitting a wrist of up to 21 cm. The watch has the caliber 2123, a modified Jaeger-LeCoultre movement, as is often the case with AP.
